Art Basel's initiative for digital art, Zero 10, makes its European debut: from June 17–21, 2026, Zero 10 comes to the flagship fair in Basel for the first time, curated by artist Trevor Paglen and digital art strategist Eli Scheinman.

Zero 10 is dedicated to artistic practices shaped by digital culture. Following successful editions in Miami Beach (2025) and Hong Kong (2026), the initiative now arrives at the fair's home base. Zero 10 is presented in the Event Hall on Messeplatz, directly alongside Art Basel Conversations. The initiative is free and open to the public from June 17–21, no ticket required.

The curatorial theme of the Basel edition is The Condition: Paglen and Scheinman bring together historical and contemporary voices from digital, generative, and media art, examining life in a world saturated by digital imagery, computational systems, and artificial intelligence.

20 exhibitors are participating in the largest edition of Zero 10 to date, including long-standing Art Basel galleries such as Hauser & Wirth, Marian Goodman, and Sprüth Magers, as well as platforms specializing in digital art. Also joining for the first time is Basel's HEK (Haus der Elektronischen Künste) with a non-selling presentation on the history of net art.
