Swissbau 2022 becomes a networking highlight

Swissbau 2022 at Messe Basel is taking shape. The rescheduled date of May 3-6 due to Corona is evolving into a face-to-face meeting place for the construction and real estate industry. This year's edition will be relaunched as a collaborative networking platform under the name "Swissbau Compact". Concentrated decision-making expertise and more than 120 partners will be brought together by the two successful formats Swissbau Focus and Swissbau Innovation Lab in exhibition hall 1.0 alone, along with a spacious marketplace with standardized exhibition areas, information desks, Speakers Corner and Bistro. Swissbau thus continues to offer opportunities for professional exchange, personal discussions and the presentation of products and innovations.

The Swissbau edition in May 2022 will offer a compact collaborative platform. The exhibition space will be concentrated in Hall 1.0. “Our goal is to offer all players in the construction and real estate industry ideal conditions for a successful industry meeting point at Messe Basel,” says Swissbau Brand Director Rudolf Pfander. “The compact version of Swissbau 2022 now taking place in Exhibition Hall 1.0 promises to be an exclusive, diverse alternative with many highlights.”

At Swissbau Focus, the interdisciplinary event and networking platform, decision-makers from the construction and real estate industries will discuss current topics and future trends in more than 80 events under the motto “New Perspectives for a Sustainable Future.” In co-creation with around 30 industry associations, organizations and universities, the exhibition has developed a diverse program of events.

Compact collaborative platform for a successful industry meeting place

In the Swissbau Innovation Lab, platform for digital transformation, visitors can experience first-hand which digital solutions are already a reality today and which new technologies and applications will shape the future of the industry. The focus is on collaboration, and the partners will be using practical examples to demonstrate how they are working together to build the high-performance building of the future. In the iRoom, the 270° cinema, these new ideas will be presented in a 20-minute film. More than 80 partners, from major manufacturers to “young guns”, will show their innovative solutions live.

Embedded between these two platforms in Hall 1.0, the organizers are launching a spacious marketplace with bistro, meeting zone and Speakers Corner. Here, manufacturers can book smart all-in participation packages and thus become part of Swissbau 2022.

The entire colorful program of Swissbau Compact can be experienced live at Messe Basel from 3 to 6 May 2022. A new feature is that the exhibition will keep its doors open until 8 p.m. on Thursday. This offers visitors an additional time window to visit the trade fair. All Swissbau program items can be found in the events calendar from the beginning of March 2022.
