Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the conditions for an official approval of Swissbau in January 2022 are no longer met. Last Friday, the MCH Group, as organiser of Swissbau, was informed by the Canton of Basel-Stadt that the decision had been taken to reject the organisation of Swissbau from 18 to 21 January 2022 in accordance with the “COVID-19 Special Situation Regulation”.
In talks with leading exhibitors from all sectors, we were able to conclude that, despite the great disappointment, there was strong support for postponing the event to next spring.
Swissbau 2022 has been postponed and will now take place from Tuesday, 3 May to Friday, 6 May 2022 in Basel. All information about Swissbau:
