Highest expectations met at Ilmac Lausanne

Ilmac 2024 in Lausanne, held from September 18 to 19, brought together 3,335 professionals from the chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology sectors. With a blend of exhibitions, international talks, and an innovative startup area, the event set new standards for the industry in western Switzerland. The organizers have reported highly positive feedback.

The facts speak for themselves: 3,335 attendees, 5,400 square meters of exhibition space, 200 exhibiting companies from 20 industries and 20 countries, and three stages featuring a total of 70 talks and presentations at the conference, the Speakers Corner, and the Future Talks Corner.

“Inspiring the Future of Chemistry and Life Sciences”
Ilmac fulfilled its promise, delivering a combination of exhibitions, international conferences, a startup area, and Job Connect that was highly appreciated by exhibitors and visitors alike. Networking lunches and the evening apéro provided the perfect opportunity to network with business partners, new clients, and familiar faces in a relaxed setting. The Expo Beaulieu Lausanne, with its spacious entrance and light-filled rooms, also received praise for its inviting atmosphere.

Broad showcase with Speakers Corner and Startup Area
The fully booked event covered eight key sectors, from laboratory technology to pharmaceuticals, and attracted attention with new products and solutions. Leading companies from the chemical and life sciences industries, including Agilent, Bruker, Endress+Hauser, Milian, Thermo Fisher, and Siemens, were among the exhibitors.

Special highlights included the startup area and the Speakers Corner, where companies presented their latest developments. Ilmac Lausanne also served as a job and career platform, supported by Job Connect, which featured an interactive job wall. “Ilmac 2024 was a resounding success.
